Our Vestry's Stewardship Covenant:
WE BELIEVE that God will provide us with what we need. We have faith that God will show us how to use and share our resources with others.
WE COMMIT to reflect prayerfully as individuals and as a community to listen to what God is saying to us, trusting in divine guidance. We realize that God values us and knows our needs as individuals and as the church.
WE INVITE all to join us in trusting in the promises of God to nourish, protect, and love us, meeting all our needs. God will provide us with the resources to serve our community and all creation; we invite all to join in stewarding these resources for the well-being of our community and the world.

Calvary's 2020 Mission Budget
At Calvary’s core is our commitment to serve each other and to serve those in our corner of God’s Kingdom. Calvary is a witness to the generosity of God - it’s who we are as a parish. We exist to serve our Community with Gratitude and Generosity. In 2020 we began to allocate our resources and expenditures in terms of Calvary’s Four Core Ministries. We thought you might like to see where and how your financial support serves and supports.
A letter from your Stewardship Team:
This letter kicks off our fall pledge drive campaign. The theme for this year’s campaign, Serving Community with Gratitude and Generosity reflects the essence of the character and culture of Calvary Episcopal Church. This annual event is important to the ministry and life of Calvary. Your Vestry and the Stewardship Team are working hard to make it a success.
In the coming weeks, we will highlight some of the many ministries, both in-church and outreach, that Calvary parishioners support with their time, talent and treasure. We are grateful to God that He has blessed us with what we need to reimagine our ministries and continue worshiping to help us fulfill our mission through the pandemic when so many folks among us need what Calvary offers. We are thankful that Calvary is in a healthy financial position and that the Spirit continually leads us to find new ways to be the church.
We are convinced that we have among us the capability of fulfilling our mission. We feel that Calvary is a special place where we are filled with a sense of gratitude and community. We believe that Calvary is important not only to its members, but also to the community in which we live. We believe that Calvary needs and deserves our support, and we hope and pray that you feel the same way.
Because we are still affected by the pandemic and our building is closed, this fall pledge campaign will be different than any we have seen before. Our communications to you will be limited to mail, email, and online through Calvary’s website and on our YouTube channel. Our online resources are always available and will be the most up to date.
In early November, we will be sending a pledge card asking you to support Calvary’s mission both financially and with your time and talents. If you have pledged before, we thank you, and hope that you will increase your donation for 2021. If you’ve not pledged before, we hope you will join us in supporting Calvary’s ministries.
Please take a moment to read the attached Stewardship Covenant that the Vestry entered into earlier this year. We invite you to prayerfully consider joining us in nourishing Calvary through your gifts of time, talent and treasure.
For now, we leave you with this prayer: “Send us now into the world in peace and grant us strength and courage to love and serve You with gladness and singleness of heart; through Christ our Lord.”
Blessings and thanks from your Stewardship Team,
